Chef Anthony Felan
2015 Wine Country Bistro

Anthony Felan is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in San Francisco, where he trained and honed his skills by working in some of San Francisco's most prestigous restaurants for seven years. After working in California, Felan returned home to Shreveport, Louisiana, to take the executive chef position at Wine Country Bistro. While in Shreveport, he partnered with Slow Food’s North Louisiana chapter and helped bring farm to table awareness to Shreveport.
Felan is also a proud supporter of urban gardens in the area while working with intercity children. After running Wine Country Bistro for four years, he returned to San Diego, to help open The Craftsman New American Tavern in Encinitas, California. He was at the helm of this restaurant for two years before returning to his hometown again to reclaim the role of executive chef at Wine Country Bistro.
