2012 LOLA

Born and raised in Covington Louisiana, I graduated high school from St. Pauls School in 1996. After high school i earned a bachlors degree in hospitality from The University of Southern Mississippi. From Hattiesburg I traveled to Charleston South Carolina and attended Johnson & Wales University. I quickly graduated with an associates degree in culinary arts. Prior to graduation I did an internship at Brennans restaurant on Royal street in NOLA. After graduation I was hired on as a full time chef at Brennans. After 5 short years I was promoted to sous chef, then Katrina hit.
My wife Nealy and I openned LOLA Restaurant in Covington in 2006. Our restaurant is located in the historic train depot in downtown Covington and our kitchen is in the cobbose of an actual train. We strive to use as much local product as possible for the freshest taste. We were both selected Louisiana Cookin chefs to watch in 2009.
Home life is easy. We live for our daughter, Ella and our three dogs. Gardening and grass cutting keeps us busy outside work.
