Chef Edgar Teran, from Chandler, Arizona, has been a part of the food industry since 2007. He started with the Someburros Family Restaurants as a front of the house employee and gradually worked his way up to bartender, server, and now Chef!

From a young age, Edgar was always in the kitchen with his family, but not necessarily to eat, he was there to cook, even as a child. Cooking and creating dishes for Edgar means freedom. Freedom to experiment with recipes, invent modern takes from his childhood staples, and focus on the love and time that goes in to creating delicious food. His favorite saying is “eating is living” and it shows in the work Edgar performs each day. He loves the memories he has as a child of food bringing people together, and that power and love is what drives his passion.

Isabel’s Amor, a sister restaurant to Someburros, is where Edgar truly shines. He is able to bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the Isabel’s Familia as well as a twist on the traditional Sonoran-style recipes the restaurant is built on.
