Chef Amber DiGiovanni 2017 Midwestern Soul Food Over the last two decades, Chef Amber DiGiovanni has managed to rack up a long list of accomplishments, from Cookbook Author…having penned 2 cookbooks to date, cook radio talk show host of 6 years, former Culinary Columnist to Oklahoma Woman Magazine and Culinary Consultant to some of America's best loved grocery store brands and manufacturers. But amid all her work, cooking is at the top of the list and as a Culinary Teacher she also offers cooking classes to blossoming chefs, where she offers tips on preparation, skills, doles out recipes, encourages students to take enjoyment in the foods they've cooked and step out of their comfort zone to try and learn new things in cuisines from around the globe. She is a fourth generation Culinarian in her family, following in the footsteps of her Mother, Grand Father and Great Grand Father. She is a self taught Chef and has been most influenced by her late husband Chef John R DiGiovanni, Chef Tito DeDios and Chef Rob Ferris. She has always been inspired by Julia Child and Meta Givens. She was recently seen on NBC’s The List and had her own weekly segment on ABC KQ2 for 2 years.
