WDSU News This Morning anchor Charles Divins moved to New Orleans from Orlando, Florida, where he served as co-host of The Daily Buzz, a nationally syndicated news and entertainment morning program.
Divins has a wide range of life experiences, as he got his start in television as an actor on the NBC daytime series Passions and went on to host NBC's 1st Look and YourLA on KNBC TV in southern California.
A native of Dallas, Divins has spent time at locations around the world, including New York and South Africa. Away from work, his interests include traveling, practicing photography and running marathons. He also owns a salon in Austin, Texas.
Divins can be seen weekdays from 4:30 a.m. – 7 a.m. with Randi Rousseau and the entire WDSU News This Morning team.
