Chef Scott Harrison
2026 Annapolis Boatyard Bar & Grill

Scott Harrison was raised in Annapolis, where the tide chart mattered more than the clock and seafood wasn't a cuisine—it was a way of life. He grew up with brackish water in his veins and oyster knives in his hands, shucking oysters in downtown Annapolis restaurants long before he ever stepped into a professional kitchen.

After graduating, Summa Cum Laude from culinary school, Scott did what ambitious chefs do: he left home. The Chesapeake taught him where food comes from; the rest of the continent taught him what was possible. He sharpened his skills in Philadelphia's Forbes Five-Star hotels, worked alongside multiple Iron Chefs, and continued his education in Washington, D.C. Stops in San Francisco and Toronto followed, each adding another layer to a culinary style built on discipline, curiosity, and an obsession with getting it right.

Florida came next, where Scott led a flagship seafood concept for Landry's, proving he could do more than cook great seafood—he could build teams, lead kitchens, and deliver excellence at scale.

More than 25 years later, after a career spent chasing perfection through some of North America's most demanding kitchens, Scott has returned to the Chesapeake Bay. At Boatyard Bar & Grill, he brings the rare combination of world-class technique and local soul. He's cooked in luxury hotels, worked with culinary legends, and led high-profile seafood programs—but at heart, he's still the kid from Annapolis who understands that the best seafood doesn't need much fuss.

His food is refined without being pretentious, rooted in tradition without being stuck in it, and always connected to the waters that started it all.
