HOT TAILS

Owen Hohl is the Executive Chef of Hot Tails Restaurants, was born in Puerto Cortes, Honduras and grew up in Metairie, Louisiana. Owen started his culinary journey at Grace King High School where he competed in and won a ProStart state championship.  After Grace King, Owen attended Louisiana Culinary Institute in Baton Rouge to further his culinary knowledge. In 2010, Hot Tails in New Roads opened, and he was given the opportunity to showcase and expand his culinary experience. Throughout his thirteen-year career at Hot Tails, Owen was promoted to Executive Chef and was instrumental in the successful opening of a second Hot Tails location in Prairieville, Louisiana. Owen has competed in both Fete Rouge and Crawfete and has received first place multiple years. He is honored to be considered to compete in the Louisiana Seafood Cookoff and looking forward to cooking alongside some of the most talented chefs in the state.
