Chef Laura Cole 2024 Alaska Culinary Adventures Chef Laura loves to cook and bring people together through all the stories that food can tell. She has called Denali Alaska her primary home for the past 28 years. She has so many extraordinary experiences living a very homestead life, from gardening, ranching, foraging and fishing. She has helped define a network of excellence through food across the state. Chef Laura has been defining Alaska cuisine since opening her restaurant 229 Parks Restaurant and Tavern in Denali National Park in 2005. A Top Chef season 15 contestant, Laura has also been nominated for best chef northwest with the James Beard Foundation for four consecutive years 2016 through 2019. She continues to share her passion for Alaska seafood through private chef charters, volunteering with World Central Kitchen and teaching in small culinary schools throughout the lower 48.
