Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Hayden’s love for food began around the family table. Inspired by his culinary roots and encouraged by his grandfather, Hayden pursued formal training at the Louisiana Culinary Institute in Baton Rouge. His journey began at Eliza Restaurant & Bar as a line cook while still in school, followed by an internship at Le Cellier Steakhouse at Disney World, where he refined his technique and broadened his culinary perspective.

Returning to Baton Rouge, Hayden rejoined the Eliza team and quickly rose through the ranks. Now Executive Chef, he brings creativity, heart, and a passion for making memorable dining experiences with every dish he serves.

In 2026, Hayden was selected as a competing chef in the Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off, one of the state’s premier culinary competitions celebrating Louisiana seafood and culinary talent.

A proud alumnus of the Louisiana Culinary Institute, Hayden remains closely involved with the school community, serving as the 2026 commencement keynote speaker and as a member of the Institute’s Industry Advisory Board, helping mentor and guide the next generation of culinary professionals.
