A Jackson native, Dalton Ferguson, has spent more than 12 years in the kitchen honing his craft. He began his career at Cafe Lagniappe, a small family-owned business, before moving onto fine dining, then headed to Colorado to broaden his perspective and technique. After returning to Mississippi, Dalton joined Elvie’s in its early days in 2020. Since then, his steady leadership has helped guide the restaurant to national recognition, including honors from the James Beard Foundation and, most recently, the Michelin Guide.
