Chef Chase Raley
2025 Monroe Parish Restaurant and Bar

Chase Alexander Raley, is the chef de cuisine of Parish Restaurant. I was born in January of 1993. I was raised by my parents and are truly the ones who got me into cooking. As a kid my parents and I would watch Emeril live together and that’s what brought us together when it came to cooking and inspired me to become a chef. My first kitchen job was working under Cory Bahr right around the time he won king of seafood. Soon I found myself living in Austin Texas, I went to culinary school and graduated in 2015. While living in Austin, I worked my way up in the kitchen. During this time, I learned the most. During Covid, I got a call that Cory needed a pastry chef, so I moved back to Monroe to work at Parish. Over the years at Parish, I’ve worked hard at being the best all-around chef I could be. I am now the chef de cuisine there and I love it. It’s a lot of work but I get to work with a wonderful group of people. It’s been amazing to be honest. Outside of work, you could find me and my fiancé hanging out with our animals. Besides watching doctor who together our pets are our favorite thing. Overall, I love cooking because of what it brings. It brings joy to those eating but also to those cooking the food. It’s during that time you can work magic; you get to create something that could potentially change someone’s life, inspire them.
