Chef Blake Jackson is the Executive Chef & Owner of Heron Seafood House and Mae & Co Chicken and Oyster Bar in Shreveport, LA. His Nouveau Louisiane cuisine has been a driving force melding Louisiana and Southern foods with international flavor and technique. Chef Blake is a winner of the Louisiana Food Prize, a recipient of the ACFNO Best Chefs of Louisiana & has been featured on Food Network and other national media outlets. He has a passion for regenerative farming reflected in his rancher and farmer relationships, bringing local and sustainable food to Northwest Louisiana. Chef is an avid outdoorsman, with a love for wing shooting, fishing- and cooking the catch with friends. But his greatest love is for his family- Hailey, his wife, and kids, Ada James and Emile. Together they take every opportunity to travel, explore and of course, eat.
