Chef Austin McCormick 2026 Richmond Lemaire Austin, originally from Midlothian, Virginia, began his culinary journey in Williamsburg under renowned Certified Executive Chef Travis Brust at the esteemed Williamsburg Inn. Gaining valuable experience, he returned to Richmond and honed his skills under Chef Jesse Miller at J Sargent Reynolds. Austin then joined the prestigious Lemaire restaurant at The Jefferson Hotel, where he has dedicated the past nine years to maintaining kitchen excellence and now as sous chef alongside Executive Chef Patrick Willis. Outside of work, Austin cherishes his time with his dog Kobe, family, and friends.
