Great American Seafood Cook-Off

Auburn Chef to Represent State in National Seafood Event

Chef David Bancroft of the restaurant Acre in Auburn has been selected to represent the state of Alabama in the Great American Seafood Cook-Off (GASCO), an annual cooking competition that pits numerous states against each other in one of the country's biggest seafood showdowns. The 11th annual event will be held at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 2 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. Read more.
