5th Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off at the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience Call for Entries

Dear Chefs and Restaurateurs,

This year marks the 5th Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off at the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience in the New Orleans Convention Center. This premier cooking competition takes place Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The Cook-Off is presented by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board with major sponsors including Rouses Markets, Louisiana Restaurant Association and Fine Cooking.

There are 12 spots available, but only one chef can be the King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood. The most talented chef and dish wins and will join a talented group of past winners—Chefs Brian Landry of Borgne (2008), Tory McPhail of Commander’s Palace (2009), Chris Lusk of Restaurant Revolution (2010) and reigning King Chef Cory Bahr of Cotton.

The winner will have the prestigious honor of representing Louisiana in the Great American Seafood Cook-Off in New Orleans August 11, 2012. If you fit the requirements below, please fill out the entry form, tell us why you love Louisiana seafood and mail, fax or e-mail it back to Ashley Roth by April 2.

We look forward to meeting you at the 5th Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off!
