"Louisiana Culinary Trails" to promote restaurants & cultural attractions

Lt. Governor Mitch Landrieu has unveiled the Louisiana Culinary Trails program, a public-private partnership created by the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in partnership with the Louisiana Travel and Promotion Association, Tabasco and the LSPMB to showcase Louisiana as a premiere culinary destination.
Louisiana Culinary Trails is a three-year marketing campaign designed to promote Louisiana’s unique culinary experiences and drive traffic to our exclusive restaurants and cultural attractions. A series of trails is being developed that will highlight the culinary and cultural heritage of all Louisiana cities and towns. The official Louisiana Culinary Trails Guide will showcase the trails and allow visitors in- and out-of-state to learn more about the history and significance of food in Louisiana.
The public-private partnership created by the Louisiana Culinary Trails program includes the support of the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, the Louisiana Travel and Promotion Association, Tabasco, The Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, Statewide Convention and Visitors Bureau’s and tourism attractions such as hotels, plantations, shopping centers and restaurants to name a few.
